English Intention

Here at Sudley Junior School, we provide a rigorous and robust English curriculum as we know that words are the currency of success.  Our high-quality provision teaches pupils to speak and write fluently so that they can communicate their ideas and emotions to others and through their reading and listening, others can communicate with them. Through exposure to good quality texts, pupils have a chance to develop culturally, emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually, in line with our whole school curriculum intention
